This is a teacher resource describing a set of student activities based on temperature and rainfall data and climate graphs for a number of cities in the Asia region, including Australian cities. The activities focus on constructing graphs from climate data and interpreting climate graphs. The resource encourages students to compare the climates of cities in the Asia region, to identify and contrast climate patterns, for example wet/dry climates in contrast to climates with four seasons, and to relate climate patterns to factors such as latitude, longitude, altitude and distance from oceans. The resource includes copy masters and a detailed teacher guide for each activity.
